CDDI Purpose

To advocate for the redevelopment of the privately-owned Cultural District area as a lively, thriving, upscale mixed-use urban village that is complimentary to the adjacent world class cultural and fabulous downtown attractions.

CDDI Mission

1. Advocacy: Support commercial and residential development in the Cultural District
2. Communication: Coordinate with the cultural and city institutions to enhance the experience and opportunities for residents and visitors to Fort Worth
3. Administration: Solicit, manage and distribute funds from grants and government incentive programs to support development of infrastructure and resources in the District

CDDI Objectives

• Undertake planning for the commercial corridor and residential infill re-development within the urban villages
• Establish Building/Architectural Standards
• Provide guidance on phasing and distribution of product, amenities and resources
• Create forum for gaining and maintaining neighborhood input and support
• Establish vehicle for private-public partnerships: TIF, PID, LGC, parking authority, etc.
